While men can have penises which reach 9+ inches, this is not common. Not all men who claim they have huge penises are lying, but many are.
The reason men lie about this is due to social pressure. Our society has created a huge emphasis on penis size and its imagined relation to "manliness." I find it to be quite silly, as many women will tell you that too big is worse than average/too small.
I have never been with anyone longer than 6.5 inches. I have seen longer, but only by an inch or so. I have never seen a 9+ inch penis in real life.

It's not THAT uncommon for a guy to be bigger than 6.2 inches. That's the average of all guys... some are bigger, some are smaller, some are about that size. That doesn't mean most guys are that size.
