She technically can.......but that's SERIOUSLY insensitive. It should be her choice...not yours. You have to be supportive...If she lives with you may want to suggest proper cloth pads or a menstrual cup for the long term but it's here decision not yours. That's rude go buy her pads. Rags aren't a suitable protection for her period. For a lot of reasons. They won't attach to her underwear, they hold a lot of germs, they aren't the absorbency she needs. Be a good boyfriend and just buy her what she needs.Health Question & Answer
