Switching from ortho evra to yasmin?!
Question: Switching from ortho evra to yasmin.?
If I'm going off the patch (ortho evra) and onto the pill (Yasmin), when should I start taking the pill.? Should I wait a month in between or does it not matter.? Will I need to use any sort of a backup method.?
Next week is my patch free week, if that makes a difference.Health Question & Answer

After your patch free week and your period, start taking the pills the day you would be due to put on a new patch. There's no need to take a month off between methods, and this way you will continue to be protected against pregnancy.Health Question & Answer
No, don't wait a month.
I doesn't really matter when you start the pill. Just take your first pill, the Sunday after you take your last patch off. Next Sunday, if you're taking it off sometime this week. I think you should use a back up for at least the 1st week, though. Just in case.Health Question & Answer
