Skipping periods on the pill?!
Question: Skipping periods on the pill.?
Ive heard that you can skip a period by skipping the placebo week. Has anyone tried this and it worked.? What about trying it and not working.? Is there any health risks to doing this.? + Ive always had irregular periods, even sometimes on the pill. Sometimes it comes before it should, and then goes, and comes back when it should. Do you think I would have success at skipping a period.? Health Question & Answer

Hi there, yes it worked for me. I had to go away for a week and it was around the time my period was due. My doctor actually told me i could do it. I wouldn't suggest doing it all the time though, probably not good for your cycle. Cheers ;o)Health Question & Answer
I've done this (not intentionally though) with the pill. I'm not sure about future health concerns. I haven't looked into it as much as I should have. You would have success if you try it. However, if you want to skip periods, I would advise that you use the new pill that's designed speciifically for that.
