Question: What is a good birth control.?
I am on Yaz at the moment and the medicine is making my hormones go all out a whack. I assumed it was because it was the first month that I was on it and so I kept taking it and I have been on it for about 6 months now and my symptoms are worse. I am moody and depressed and my cramps are actually worse than they ever were.
I will admit I am sexually active that is why I am on birth control. I'm just so sick a tired of being so moody and crazy.

I've taken Yasmin (different from Yaz) and TriNessa (generic for Ortho Try-Cyclen). Both have worked pretty well for me, but with TriNessa I've noticed a pretty signifigant weight gain.
Of course, every woman is different. You may have to try a couple of different brands before you find out which one works best for you. Talk to your doctor, and see what s/he has to say about it.

ugh i HATED yaz!! it made me break out and feel like crap. . switch to "yazmin" its similar but WAYYY BETTER!!Health Question & Answer
