Question: Girl Question.?.?.? Kind of gross. Need some heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp.?
Ok so you know that discharge stuff. Well I've had it but now it's becoming like more "thicker" If you know what I mean. Like not so liquid-y. Lol I know gross but does this mean I might be getting it soon.? I know some people say like it gets more brownish when you get closer to having it. Ooh and BTW if you haven't guessed I haven't started yetHealth Question & Answer

Your body could be preparing for your first cycle. I know this is somewhat personal lol...but the first day of my period consists of just the brownish discharge so you may not see that until you start for real. This could be within the next few days, weeks, or months. The days leading up to my period often has thicker discharge as well, but every woman's body is different. If it has a distinct odor or a funky color (green, yellow) it may be an infection that you should tell your mother or another trusted female.Health Question & Answer

It is normal to get a daily vaginal discharge. It begins a year or so before you start to menstruate and lasts for most of your adult life. Some days during your cycle the discharge is wet and liquidy, other days it is thick and rope-like. If you don't like the way it feels or you want to protect your undies, you might want to wear an Always Pantiliner each day. The pantiliner will absorb the vaginal discharge and help you feel fresh and dry.

Just because it is thicker doesn't mean that you will get your period sooner. It just varies randomly.

When it is brown, then it means that you are about ready to start your period, or it is just cleaning out after your period.
