If I get my period when I'm on the pill, does that mean I'm safe?!

Question: If I get my period when I'm on the pill, does that mean I'm safe.?
I've been on the pill for a few months now, but recently my boyfriend and I had sex without a condom on two different occasions. The packet on the pregnancy tests say it's better to wait 7-10 days before using them, and they're so expensive. The pill tells me I'm due to get my period sooner than that, so if that comes before the date I can use the pregnancy test on, should I still worry about taking the pregnancy test.?Health Question & Answer

When you are on the pill, you bleed, but it really isn't a real period- It more or less cleans the toxins out of you uterus. I mean there is a chance that you could actually ovulate, but if you don't want to stress about getting preg. Then use the BC and also use a condom. Good luck . I mean you could take the test but take it after you miss your period.Health Question & Answer

No. If you get your period and it's normal you're fine. If it's really light though you may want to try the test. Period equals no baby and if you're on the pill and taking it at the same time everyday you're pretty safe.
