Bleeding - on pill with no breaks! help?!
Question: Bleeding - on pill with no breaks! help.?
hi I'm 17 and have really bad problems with periods.
after being on tablets, and different types of the pill for ages. i was referred to a gynecologist because my GP was querying endometriosis . after being put on Yasmin and still no affect. my gynecologist advised me to take Yasmin for 8 months with no break.
after 3 months i was told to come back and see her. and i told her it was going fine.
a week after that appointment i began to bleed again and have very bad pains. it all stopped a few weeks later but now its started again. i have now been on my period for 16 days, and have been experiencing on and off pains.
sometimes i am getting throbbing pains by my ovaries as well.
i have an appointment to go to see her again on 1st December.
should i wait or make a nearer appointment.?
thanks

Answers:
bleeding for half a month.?..well,thats bad girl. you better seek your GPs advice as early as possible. thats not normal anymore and you may have a more serious complication if you'll not do anything about it. Health Question & Answer
I wuold have thought the answer is more than obvious , pain and bleeding over and above what seems normal should be investigated and not on yahoo!! go get an earlier appointment before something goes realy bad...Health Question & Answer
I think you should try to make a closer appointment with your GP because you shouldn't be experiencing these problems.
