Since I've gotten my period i have always used pads
but since now i have to take swimming classes all
my friends are switching to tampons but i'm afraid of
using tampons cause i've heard of tss and u might die of it

Change the tampon every 4-8 hours and you will be just fine. TSS is rare, but it could happen if the tampon is left in for to long. So no don't worry & change it throughout the day. tampons are great!Health Question & Answer
Tampons are fine! I like them better then pads. I have not heard of anyone getting TSS but I know it can happen. Try talking with your mom about it.Health Question & Answer
