Question: I just got off birth control and had my period days later, but had my period 2 wks ago, is this normal.?
I recently started taking birth control for the first time 2 weeks ago, starting with my period. This past week I decided to stop taking it because it was making me very nauseous. But, yesterday I started my period again, is this normal.? (I have usually had my periods pretty regular)Health Question & Answer

Yes its normal. You are having withdrawal bleeding from getting off the birth control pills in the middle of the pack. You may or may not have a normal "period" this week. everything will go back to normal after this bleed is over, or at least whatever normal was before you were on the pills.Health Question & Answer

Honey anytime you change your hormones you run the risk of screwy periods. The pills is also prescribed to regulate periods, so maybe that is what has stopped happening with you. If it keeps up abnormal like that I would tell your Dr and see what they say. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
