Answers:
Although it is less likely, it is possible. Your period is when you shed the lining of your uterus...not ovulation. Although most women typically ovulate around 14 days after their period, you can ovulate at anytime (it's based on hormone levels). The egg is most often fertilized before it implants in the uterus and I can't remember the exact number of days, but it takes a few days for the fertilized egg to drop down to the uterus. If your wondering how I know...took a year of anatomy and physiology classes. Just use protection...if not to prevent pregnancy, to prevent STD's. And remember, people have gotten pregnant even with protection...it's not 100%. Hope this helps.Health Question & Answer

Nah! You can't get pregnant with sex during periods. The ovulation period is about 14 days before periods and the ovum stays viable for a single day.
So the fertile period is between 10 days to 16 days before your period.Health Question & Answer
