If it was the first time you have ever had sex I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it doesn't go away in the next few days. If it doesn't go away then I would definately suggest getting checked out, if you wore protection then it may not be too serious (i.e crabs etc) but if you didn't use protection it could be any number of things.
