Question: I have a question about tampons and getting TSS syndrom.?

I have used them before but I get really nervous about getting TSS syndrom. I actually use them a lot but since I get so nervous I usually changed to a new one every 3 hours. I was just wondering how long you can leave them in while still being safe.

you can leave it in for up to 8 hours.

but really don't worry about it!
and also, it is proven that the bigger the absorbency, the more likely you are to get an infection. so if it makes you feel better, use a lower absorbency!
