I know this is gross... but why is my pee orange?!

Question: I know this is gross... but why is my pee orange.?
Last night and this morning my pee was orange. What causes this.? i have had on and off cystitis or urinary problems. However, last year I tried to kill myself by overdosing on Paracetamol. I heard orange pee can be related to liver damage.? Should I go the Dr's.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
it could be something you have eaten or it could be an infection. food that might do it include - beetroot, blackberries, rubarb and senna tablets. it can be caused by dehydration, bile in the urine, jaundice.
how long has it been like this.? if its just once i wouldnt worry but if it carries on and/or you have any pain anywhere then its prob a good idea to get checked out. Health Question & Answer
