If anyone has experience with miscarriage with just some clots and spotting and no heavy bleeding?!

Question: If anyone has experience with miscarriage with just some clots and spotting and no heavy bleeding.?
I am (was) 5week3days pregnant when I felt low back pain not severe. I went to pee where some clots passed through (similar to day 1 of menstrual). After that I felt better and saw some spotting for 4-5 days. I got my hcg count and dr said that it went down from 20 to 9 and sure miscarriage. But I dont have any heavy bleeding or pain. I still feel same as I was before this incident. Any experience.?
Do I need to wait for natural miscarriage or D&C. I dont know if I have complete miscarriage.?Health Question & Answer

Not sure babe.
I know mine was completely different [ lots of heavy bleeding & big clots ] - don't worry though i was much further on than you.
Your doctor should offer you an ultrasound as if everything doesn't pass it could cause an infection.
I know what you're going through, it really is traumatising.

First of all, let me say my thoughts are with you during this tough time. I was 10 weeks with my last miscarriage, we found out on christmas. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It may take your body time to pass everything that is in there. I opted for the d&c so I didn't have to sit around just WAITING for something to happen. So it's totally your preference. The D&C was quick, and not that painful, and just to know that i could "start from scratch" was a good feeling, well...nothing really feels good when going through something like that, but it helped.

Its totally up to you, it could drag on for a while, and the bleeding could increase tomorrow. I would speak with your DR and see what they recommend.Health Question & Answer

You really need to see your doctor again, she/he is really the only person who can answer your questions properly. So very early in a pregnancy, a miscarriage wouldn't need a lot of bleeding or pain to be complete, but you really MUST see a doctor to be sure of what is happening to you.Health Question & Answer

You need to go to your doctor he/she can tell you if they think you should have a D&C.

When I had mine I had no warning I went to the bathroom and what you described happened to me. I went to the ER and they did a D&C and I went on bleeding for a few more days like a normal period. Health Question & Answer

clots are a sign of miscarriage. you may not have fully passed all the tissue. you should consult your doctor, most likely you will need the tissue removed. i'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage :-( Health Question & Answer

You need an ultrasound to determine whether or not you had a complete miscarriage. Health Question & Answer
