I am getting a surgery on Thursday and my Period started yesterday.
I had to write when my last one was and stuff (Sept 11) so they know that kind of stuff. The surgery will be on my chest and they wont have to deal with down there but still. Like should I tell the.?
What should I do!.?

Shouldn't be a problem but if the question was asked about when your last period was in the pre-op interview you should let them know. It would probably be easiest to tell one of the female nurses that will likely be assisting so it's less embarrassing for you. Good luck with your surgery.

You could let them know, but it won't make any difference unless you want to reschedule it just for personal comfort reasons.

That's fine, just let them know. For most surgeries you have to get completely naked under your gown so it'll help them know to help clean you up or put a pad under you during the surgery...nothing to be worried about!Health Question & Answer
i would put down that your last period just started and i would just let them know. I'm sure it won't change anything about the surgery but at least they will know & be able to take care of you!
