I used to be on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and I HATED it. It made my deep auburn hair an unmanageable dry, orange tone (as if I was pouring hydrogen peroxide on it), it made my nails grow in dry, brittle layers and it made my acne horrible...it did protect me against pregnancy though so that's good:D
But I switched to Aviane less than a month ago and it is INCREDIBLE! I LOVE IT! My hair is now it's natural tone AND VERY SHINY AND SOFT plus the texture is GREAT! My nails are now shiny and in ONE layer and my skin is clearing up...not to mention the other day my bra snapped in half...so my boobs are growing too!!!
And it is protecting me against pregnancy!!!

I love yasmin (ocella is its generic version). Its different then most pills. Because it has differnt hormones.

I was on Diane35 for two years, it is birth control but also an effective acne medication. however I did not find out that it builds an immunity in your system, and a few weeks ago my skin got bad again, and nothing will stop it. now I am in a frenzy trying to find another pill that will stop me getting pregnant but also help my skin. my doctor gave me yasmin to try in a few days but I am scared.
