Was this a panic attack? i'm not sure?!

Question: Was this a panic attack.? i'm not sure.?
well, i have a lot on my plate right now and have been suffering the repercussions from it; meaning that i've been sleeping and eating less, as well as many other things that probably aren't really helpful!

anyhow, today i just got overloaded and my face got really clammy, i couldn't really breathe (it was like someone had stuffed cotton batting down my throat), i got really dizzy sort of like very bad head rush, i went pale, and i suddenly got severely exhausted. this lasted for about three minutes or so, and now i just feel wiped.

in long term symptoms, i've been having migraines (i actually had to go to the hospital and be given a demerol drip), loosing some hair from my head, been exhausted, and been nauseous almost constantly.

thanks :)Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.

But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced... you have that "learned behavior" in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction... There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to....

dude, make sure your eating 6 times a day (breakfast,snack,lunch,snack,dinner,snac... and keep them all in proportion btw. dont skip meals and drink plenty of fluids. You had a kind of panic attack but dont worry about it it's in the past now and dont let it get to you now.
about the hair loss and such, go see a doctor! that is not quite normal in regular panic attacks...
sleep okay, SLEEP you must have at least 8 hrs of seep k.? REMEMEBR THAT. even if your on the computer and your like "well im not tired anyways so even if i tried to sleep it wudnt work" shush up and go to bed okay! even if u end up just laying there for an hour DO IT ANYWAY.
