I am 22, Been off the pill for 4 months and have not had my period for this time. I have had two pregnancy test and both were negative.
Since been off the pill i have not had unprotected sex. Because i have group B Strep, does this mean i am Pregnant. Please help, i am stressed.Health Question & Answer

First of all, relax, you are fine. Let me explain something about our well know friend Group B streptococcus (also know in the nursery and OB office as GBS status, to refer whether the pregnant lady has strep in the cervix and therefore, before delivery has to be given antibiotic to protect the baby. That is it. The cervical invasion with GBS is treatable. It does not mean that you are pregnant, especially if you had protected sex. Do not stress out. Just continue your life as usual. Go to your appointments as everyone does. If you have any symptoms or you miss a period, you might want to check things out.
