i just got my own health insurance card, with bcbs of IL, so what do i need to look for when choosing a doctor>.?.? im 21years old and should i go for a Gynecologist, for a male or female.?.? a hospital or a clinic.?.?.? what would be better for me.? and if i choose a gynecologist would i be able to go with em if i have a bad head ach or sick or somethig.?.?.? I would choose 2 doctors an ob-gyn and internal medicine or family practice doctor. Ask some of your friends that you trust who they like/recommend.
If you cant find one through them, look in the phone book and ask several if they are accepting new patients, and with your insurance. If they are, go see the doctor, and talk to him/her and see if you like them or not.

Choose what is most comfortable for you. It is a personal decision really.
Hospital or clinic.?
Either go to a clinic or choose a private doctor. Hospitals usually will not do gyno checkups.
As for the headaches, you might have to go to a regular doctor. A gyno is usually for any Vaginal/Uterine or ovary problem.
