Post menstruation issues?!

Question: Post menstruation issues.?
Let me first start off by telling you that I don't have health insurance, so please no one tell me to go see my GYN. If I could, I would.

So... I got off birth control a little over two months ago. I never experienced any of this when I was on it.
A week after my period starts (so, like, a day or two after I stop) I get really lightheaded if I put my head down and then back up and I get REALLY tired like I feel like I ran a marathon. I also feel weak and almost nauseous. I haven't had sex since I have been off the pill and have gotten 2 periods, so I know I am not pregnant. Are my hormones out of wack.? Is that what is causing all this.?.? What can I do.? Health Question & Answer

It sounds like whatever was in the pill (including iron in some pills) your body reliant on, especially if you were on it for a while. If you have always had menstrual issues, then your best bet is to get back on the pill. I know you don't have HI so you may want to go to a women's clinic and see about getting it at a lower cost. also, if you know anyone who works for a doctor, especially a gyn, they may be able to get some samples for you.Health Question & Answer

your hormones are out of wack. How long were you on the pill.? Your body is use to the pills that you were taking and now you are not taking them anymore so you need time to regulate. I guess it is kind of like withdrawal. I think only time will fix your issue. Health Question & Answer
