Congratulations on the baby, though i am sorry to hear about the problems with her back. My suggestion is that there may be a little bruising around the spin where the epidural was injected. Do not be too alarmed keep an eye on the the area of the epidural and tell her to look at her urine for blood or discolorations just to make sure that it is not her kidneys. I also highly recommend that you make an appointment with her doctor A.S.A.P

As for the the spine i suggest you try a natural concoction i have been reading about it is a teaspoon of cinnamon mixed with 8oz. of milk three times daily to strengthen the bones.

Hope this helps

some pain is normal after an epidural, however if ur mum feels it to much for her she should seek medical advice no matter how long it takes, she has children to care for and if she is unwell herself she cant fully care for u kids and we here on yahoo q&a r not all doctors and what we suggest might not always be right for ur mum...it could be something more serious Health Question & Answer

Your Mum needs to call her OB doctor again and tell them what is going on. If they don't help call the hospital and see if she can talk to a anesthesiologist. They are the ones that administer the epidurals.
Good luck and congrats on the new baby. Take care of your Mum.Health Question & Answer
