Alright, this is kinda embarrassing, but down there looks different. At the labia (lips...i think they are called that) it doesnt look....right.
It isn't the same color either. Its more of a redish purple. It kinda...hangs down lower than the labia. It doesn't hurt, itch, nothing. Its been that way for a few years, and its gotten me pretty worriedl I am 14, but scared to have sex for the first time (not anytime soon! I am waiting til i am married) becuase i don't want my husband to judge me like that.
Any ideas on what this could be.?

Reddish Purple is simply a sign of excess blood pooling (think of a bruise) and if it has been like that for years it is nothing to worry about. Your inner labia will be darker than the outer labia. One side can be slightly larger than the other side. A man won't judge you by the way your labia look. I know my guy doesn't. You are perfectly normal and have nothing to worry about.

im 35, and a woman, and I msut tell you, not everybody's genitals look the same. I didnt know this till I moved out of my house (at 19) and started seeing other girls in college dorms/friends houses etc
If you are Caucasian, you may have white skin, but slightly darker genitals. If you are hispanic or black,your genitals can be much darker. This is just called 'hyper-pigmentation" and that is a darkening of an area (it can happen anywhere) with melanin. Nothing to be scared of.
Sometimes labia's are heavy and hood the vagina completely ,and some reveal the clitoris. You should get to know your body, and enjoy its uniquenes.
I am glad you are not rushing out to have sexual relations, (because 14 is very young - and not in a bad way) but waiting to you are married is not realistic. And trust me, guys love vagina's, of all shapes and sizes. Plus do you really want to marry a man and THEN find out hes lousy in bed.? - I doubt it.
And when you build up a relationship with the young man you do finally fall for, waiting a few months to have sex really allows the love bond to be so strong, and your silly fears about a 'weird' vagina will melt away.
