Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I don't know anything about the seizures, need to talk to your doctor about that. But, could you mean pre-eclampsia:
Preeclampsia and Eclampsia
What Is Preeclampsia.?
also referred to as toxemia, preeclampsia is a condition that pregnant women can get. It is marked by high blood pressure accompanied with a high level of protein in the urine. Women with preeclampsia will often also have swelling in the feet, legs, and hands. Preeclampsia, when present, usually appears during the second half of pregnancy, generally in the latter part of the second or in the third trimesters, although it can occur earlier.

What Is Eclampsia.?
Eclampsia is the final and most severe phase of preeclampsia and occurs when preeclampsia is left untreated. In addition to the previously mentioned signs of preeclampsia, women with eclampsia often have seizures. Eclampsia can cause coma and even death of the mother and baby and can occur before, during, or after childbirth.

What Causes Preeclampsia and Eclampsia.?
The exact causes of preeclampsia and eclampsia are not known, although some researchers suspect poor nutrition, high body fat, or insufficient blood flow to the uterus as possible causes.

Who Is at Risk for Preeclampsia.?
Preeclampsia is most often seen in first-time pregnancies and in pregnant teens and women over 40. Other risk factors include:

A history of high blood pressure prior to pregnancy.
Previous history of preeclampsia.
A history of preeclampsia in mother or sisters.
Obesity prior to pregnancy.
Carrying more than one baby.
History of diabetes, kidney disease, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis.

What are the Signs of Preeclampsia.?
In addition to swelling, protein in the urine, and high blood pressure, symptoms of preeclampsia can include:

Rapid weight gain caused by a significant increase in bodily fluid
Abdominal pain
Severe headaches
A change in reflexes
Reduced output of urine or no urine
Dizziness

I think this condition is found in later stages of pregnance.

You really need to talk to a doctor about your condition and your concerns.
Health Question & Answer

I'm sure if you talk to your doctor you will be put on an anti-convulsant that will help your brain recover from the tendency to seizure.
I used to have seizures after brain injury and I haven't for ten years, but I still take an anti-convulsant every day. Yes, it's expensive, but a lot less costly than the costs incumbent to a daily seizure.Health Question & Answer

you could have epilepsy and are just now discovering it since your body is under so much stress. you need to go to a neurologist and find out immediately...you need to get medicated and get the seizures controlled or you could risk losing you baby. Health Question & Answer

Please, please please see a doctor.Health Question & Answer

I would suggest finding a alternative doctor like a kinesioligist or maybe even a chiropractor have you ever tried getting adjusted and see if it was just a pinched nerve I know that is a shot in the dark but I have heard of it before. My baby used to have seizures he got them from his RSV shot we took him to a kinesioligist and since he started working on him he only had two appointments and after that he had one seizure and nothing since it has been 1 1/2 years since he has had a seizure he did wonders for my baby. It worth a try they will tell you if they can't help you.

and two twitchddragyn how dare you this women is concerned about the safety of her little child and you dare to say such a selfish thing. you should be ashamed of yourself I have never been so disgustedHealth Question & Answer
