Question: MY Vagina Stings When I go Pee.? .?
Please don't laugh, but I switched from ortho tri cyclen lo (which I took for 3 months) to Aviane and I am on the sugar pills of my first pack and my period started off light and suddenly became extremely heavy!!!
Otcl made my period lighter though...
is having so much blood suddenly causing the sting when i go pee.?
I only feel this when going to the bathroom...and it has only started since my period has started.
I am sexually active, but me and my boyfriend have only been with each other 100% sure so it can't be an std.
I have a feeling it is the sudden heaviness of my period, but not sure...
Do you think so.?

umm ya you should listen to the others you have an infection don't worry it won't kill you for now but you should see a doctor soon. and you can get infection from lots of thing including your boyfriend being dirty so make him take a shower first. also your not alone everyone get a infection downthere at some point or another your not alone.Health Question & Answer
it sounds most likely to be a bladder infection, wait until your period is over, then see the doctor so he can test your urine for infection... in the meantime get a product called AZO at your local drug store and take it as directed along with at least a liter of water a day.
the AZO will mask your discomfort, and it will turn your urine orange, but that will keep you comfortable until you stop bleeding so your urine can be accurately assessed for infection.Health Question & Answer

you might have a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection

it could be ur period but it might also be a UTI. You need to go to the doctor and have that looked atHealth Question & Answer
