When should i have sex?!

well how about i give you a check list to let you know when and if you ready.

you know your ready when

1. your BOTH 100% mentally, physically, emotionally ready.

2. you know all the pro and cons to sex like even with protection there is still a risk of gaining stds or getting pregnant. you also know that you can get pregnant the fist time and gain std the first time.

3. you doing because you BOTH are ready(#1) and not doing it to prove love or to keep someone.

4. learn as much about sex that way you at least wont go in it ignorant.

I"m 18 a female and virgin(god damn proud of it) with a bf of almost 9 months and I'm still not ready for sex.

When to have sex is a personal choice. I'm sure you think sex is "cool" because you probably hear about your friends bragging about it and stuff. FYI, there is a lot of responsibility that comes along with sex in order to stay safe. You need to be prepared to prevent against pregnancy and STDs. Both can change your life forever. if you're not ready, well you're not ready. trust me my friend was 14 and it happened to her she did it and she wasnt ready she thought she fell in love with her bf and guess what.? he just wanted to have sex with her because he thought it was a joke and she got pregnent and he moved to idaho. now she's 17 and has a pain taking care of her kid and her bf never came back or called her...maybe he's ******* up some other as a joke (blech) so you know what we did.? we went to idaho and figures out he wanted to come to visit her but his parents wouldnt let him so in 3 years theyll get married and actually be a family i just felt so sorry for him. so you should wait to have sex until you're older like 24. youll think it's a long time but life goes fast...my friend is pregnant and i was about to be but i thought about it. Yeah, you should probably wait. When I was in high school; I slept with alot of girls. It was cool at the time but honestly, I look back now and really wish I would have waited.

Back then, I was just doing it to have fun, because of that; that is all sex is really for me now. Its just fun. Now theres nothing wrong with sex being fun but I know it has the potential to be so much more when you really truly love that person and want to be a part of them.
