K so im 14 and one of my guy friends is acting all weird around me ever since he found out i had my period !!! So im just wondering why .?

I guess a lot of guys never actually think about their best girl friends having periods. I know it doesn't really make sense, and that its awkward, but wait until he gets over it. 2 of my best friends are guys and they didn't get weirded out by it when i got mine.. i would actually tell them not to talk to me for a week b/c i may have an attitude!.. maybe your friend thinks of you as "one of the guys" and just doesn't want to hear about the girl stuff.. but i think at 14, he should be able to understand it.. it's nothing to feel weird about.. it's a normal phase of life.. i think boys just dont understand it. like for example i remember when i was younger and first got my period my brother kind of assumed since you bleed it must be painful. he didnt fully understand it at the time. Health Question & Answer
I think if you manage it well and don't get all hormonal, he'll eventually either forget or just get used to the idea, or both. Health Question & Answer
