If you found out you were ill and it seemed you were getting no where with the many Doctors you have seen , would you be willing to travel outside of your own country say ...Mexico for treatment.? Why or why not.? Health Question & Answer

yes many people do this. some travel to Lourdes to get blessed , and some travel to areas to get specialist treatments. You go where there is hope and if you have the strength and money,many in 3rd world countries are often sponsored ie separating siamese baby twins as they havent got the medical advances of the Western society medics, due to purely geographical reasons.Health Question & Answer
i would never go aboard personally, as i am always hearing about people going aboard and being taken to some hospital that is money orientated. If you do make sure that you have checked everything out. All the stress of finding somewhere to help you might cause you to get worse. Hopefully if you talked to your doc about your plans of going somewhere to get help as you feel there not helping you it might kick start them into 'fixing mode'Health Question & Answer
My best guess would be if you needed surgery that the US didnt do, then yeah, if it was life or death I'd make the trip. But really... MEXICO.? of all places, I don't look at them as the medical guru's of the world. But if you needed the surgery and they offered it, get on down there.Health Question & Answer
no way, especially not some place like mexico. no offense to the country but i just don't think they will have as many good doctors as the US has, i would just keep going to different doctors in the US until someone found something outHealth Question & Answer
