im only 13 and well i notices i have a bump on the lip of my vagina...im a little scared i rely would not like to see a gynecologist and well i live with my dad and my mom is in another state so i don't have some sort of older woman to talk to, it hurts a little and it somewhat looks like a pimple but its not white i cant explain the color but it was bleeding and it stopped but if you may have any idea of what this is, i have not shaved down there in a while because i have no reason because i dint plan on wearing a bathing suit any time soon and im not sexually active so i know its not a std do you have any idea on how to make it go away, and do you have any idea of what it is...

I had something like that too, I went to my doctor and found out it was an ingrown hair (When the hair grows out and then curls back and goes back in) It usually happens when a person shaves and then doesn't for a while. It starts to swell and feel like a painful pimple and might have blood or puss. Talk to your doctor to find out what it is, the most you might have to get is an antibiotic.Health Question & Answer
it sounds like a pimple or an ingrown hair. i wouldn't worry about it unless it starts causing frequent pain or if it gets bigger. and in that case if you should need to see a doctor, talk to a female p.e. teacher or a friend's mom about it. or if you're feeling bold just tell your dad. it may be embarrassing at the time, but just think it's for the benefit of your health and you will be relieved when you find out that you're fine. Despite it not being white, it could just be a pimple. Pimples down there do tend to hurt a bit and they can bleed. I wouldn't worry about it unless more pop up or it gets bigger or it just doesn't go away. Just try to keep the area clean for a while.Health Question & Answer
