Question: Being sick at work question/advice.?
I work at a Marriott resort and I've been sick the past few days. I'm currently at the Front Desk, checking guests in. I'm coughing, I'm running a fever, and don't feel altogether too well, but there's only one other person working up here, and our Supervisor doesn't particularly care much for me.
What should I do.? I feel really nauseous, and it doesn't make me feel right to be coughing and sweating and checking people into our fine establishment.

Answers:
You should go home for your sake and for customers sake.
Just go to your manager and let him know (don't ask!) that you are going home and that you will call tomorrow morning to check in whether you're coming in or not.

If you're feeling that bad, you should talk to someone about leaving early. Or at the very least, letting you run to the store to pick up some day medicine. It's never good to pass on illness, afterall.
