Question: Since sharing the story of my botched circumcision, I'm now a girl, 17, and want to decide what to do next.?
I've already asked a few questions regarding this matter before, and now I'm almost certain that I'm going to stay as a girl. I've been a girl since I was one, so practically all of my life, I've adopted all female traits, and I love my vagina, so I'm pretty sure I want to continue living as a female. I'm just not sure if since I was born as a boy, should I consider going back, because the circumcision was badly botched so turning me into a girl was the only choice for me to continue leading a ridicule free life. Can anyone justify staying the way I am - and having surgeries to complete me as a woman, or changing back for me.?Health Question & Answer

I'm so sorry that happened to you - I thought they didn't do the gender change thing any more after David Reimer! It's another reason why circumcision shouldn't be allowed.
It sounds like you're happy being a girl, you say you love your vagina, so if you really are honestly happy like that, there is no need to go back to being a boy just because you were born that way. It seems like that's what you want. I'm sorry you won't experience some aspects of being a woman, but it doesn't matter as long as you consider yourself one. And I hate to say this, but due to you accident your wouldn't experience some aspects of being a man either if you changed that way. So if you're happy like this then stay like this. I think if you really wanted to change back you probably would have decided it already. Do you have to choose now though.? It's possible you might change your mind.

i just watched a show on this same thing. if you feel good being a girl stay that way. no periods and you get to be flirty, women are in control of the sex. my friend had a sex change and regrets it horribly. so if you want to do something think long and hard. if your happy the way you are why change. "you cant fix something that isnt broken" your not broken so dont go and try and tinker with something that is awesome anyways. Health Question & Answer
