Do woman with wider hips find it easier to give birth?!

Question: Do woman with wider hips find it easier to give birth.?
it's just that i've a narrow frame and due to give birth in december. it goes without saying i'm worried about the pain. just wondering if the width of your hips on the outside reflect your pelvis shape or ability to expand.

Not true. Every birth is different, and every baby comes in different sizes and shapes. I gave birth to my daughter who came out with a weight of almost 10 lbs. and my hips had nothing to do with it. While you are giving birth your pelvis will give and expand a birth for the baby to pass...and that is just a natural thing. Health Question & Answer

In most cases yes. A small tiny frame woman say 5 feet maybe 105 pounds with small bones would not be able to have a baby any bigger than probably 6 lbs. vaginally she would most likely need a C-section. But a bigger boned larger framed girl with curves and booty would probably be able to have one up to 10 lbs. I know this from my own experience and speaking to many woman. Best wishes if your expecting.Health Question & Answer

Not really. We are all different and births are all different. I had a friend who had tiny hips and gave birth to an 8lb baby without any problem whereas her cousin had large hips and had a section.Health Question & Answer
