Liink between depression and frequent visit to the toilet to pee?!

Question: Liink between depression and frequent visit to the toilet to pee.?
i have noticed recently that i go to the toilet very often. upto 3 times an hour. i have been showing signs and symptoms of depression and i was wondering it this also could be related to the depression or could it be something more serious like renal (kidney) failure or high blood sugar level.?.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
try not to worry. This is normal.

It's down to a hormone called Aldosterone that is produced by the adrenal glands and interacts with the kidneys to reabsorb sodium.

When you are depressed, there is more aldosterone which is linked with increasing urine production.

I would recommend going to the doctor to rule any other illnesses out, but it is most likely to be explained by depression and nothing to worry about.

Exercise is a wonderful cure for both depression and high urine production. even if you just do it in small doses.

you might talk to your doctor about it. Sometimes it may be prediabetes. Diabetes is not a death sentence, and if you catch it very early, you just have to keep a good diet, and exercise, and most will never suffer from actual full blown diabetes. Frequent urination for an extended period does warrant atleast calling your doctor.Health Question & Answer
