i agree your period should have little to no sent at all,,
are you sure your not mistaking the smell of your pad.?
those tend to give off a bad odor
and yes your period will be heavier on hte 2nd/3rd day

your period shouldn't smell bad at all.
if it is, i would see a doctor.

You could try and spray the pad you are wearing with some kind of deodorant or fragrance. This might help your situation a little .?Health Question & Answer
