Question: What do rapists act like .?
my friend was telling me about how her cousin was raped. her cousin is my age (14) and im really scared that it will happen to me! i probobly won't be raped (hopefully, but you never know) but i just want to be safe. so how do rapists act, like what is their personality like.? and how will they act around girls.? i just want to know so i can stay away from those creeps and hopefully it will never happen to me!

Rapists are polite and kind all the time and are very protective around girls. You would most likely be raped by somebody you know such as a neighbour, rarely by a total stranger.
Don't stress! Be positive! stop worrying! no rapist is gonna come after you hahaha just keep safe and u will be totally fine! keep a mobile on you all the time. And if you are in trouble put yourself in a crowded invironment around lots of people. If you ever do get in trouble scream!!!!! rapists like easy targets that are not likley to fight back. Be loud!!!!

The truth is, you can never tell who is a rapist, sometimes a girl or woman can be raped by someone they know who they have gone on a date with, it is called date rape.
At 14 you should not dwell on it, just be aware you cannot rely on a boy to stop when you say so. You cannot tell who will be a rapist unfortunately rapists do not always look like creeps. Us women all wish they did.
Most rapists act normal, are polite and you would never tell.
Make sure you go out in a group on your first dates and stay safe by going to places were there are other people, avoid lonely places and concentrate on enjoying the company, never accept a lift or put yourself in a dangerous lonely position, just be aware and have fun. As many rapists as there are, I'm sure they have all personality types. If you see an older man staring at you strangely or anything funny, don't make eye contact with him. I guess I would just advise you to be safe, and try not to go out in big areas by yourself, always keep a cell phone on you, even if it's a prepaid one with just a few minutes on it. There is no stereotypical pattern for a rapist. Women cannot tell just by looking at someone. Your best bet is to learn defense moves or a martial art that would give you some measure of confidence (but don't become overly confident).
I watched a true crime show this week and the rapist was the cutest and most popular guy in the whole high school. He was a major athlete, an honour student and a leader. Why was he not turned in to the authorities.? He insisted that each girl must *not* tell or he would kill her.
