Okay So i douched yesterday and i started my period after words and i douched today [i know not to douche more than 2 a week but i just wanted to try it it was my first time using it and i really don't plan on using it again.] am i going to be okay.? it hurts when i pee and my lover wanted to have sex tomorrow should i.? n being on period tips please.?.?Health Question & Answer

You will be ok. You may have a UTI and that is why it hurts when you pee. Go to the Dr's. Drink more water and try some cranberry juice to help. I would not suggest having sex on your period b/c it's messy. I would just tell your lover that this week isn't a good time and I'm sure he'll get it. Health Question & Answer
I'd really avoid douching...like...ever. It alters the pH of your vagina which can cause yeast infections. If it hurts when you pee, definitely don't have sex. If it continues to hurt, see a doctor. Health Question & Answer
You SHOULD NOT be douching...seriously...that is dangerous, causes VERY HEAVY periods, and other serious health issues. Keep yourself clean by washing gently in the shower, and I would refrain from sex now until you aren't in pain. Health Question & Answer
