i think that abortion is illegal because nobody has the right to take somebody else life just because you don't feel responsible enough to have a baby,but you should have thought of the consequences before you had sex without protection. to me it's illegal and nobody should do it. if you don't want to end up pregnant just don't have sex or use protection.Health Question & Answer

I believe early-term abortions are a woman's rights. A baby is not a baby until it can reasonably survive outside the womb.
I believe women should use birth control and protect themselves. But if birth control fails (and it sometimes does, despite the best efforts to be safe), then a woman shouldn't have to carry the pregnancy, if she never intended to get pregnant. If I were in such a situation, I would not hesitate to get an abortion. I do not want kids, and it is my right not to have any.
Abortions should by no means be used as a form of birth control though. Counseling programs should be put in place, so that if a woman attempts to have more than two abortions, she'll be mandatorily counseled about her sexual practices, and birth control usage.Health Question & Answer

although i am christian, and follow most rules and outlines of the faith, i do believe that under certain circumstances abortion is allowable, If a woman was raped or had absolutely no means to support the child abortion is acceptable.
i believe (and this contradicts my faith but...) a child is given a soul at birth, although alive in the womb, a soul is not granted. this doesn't make abortion any less of a moral crime (for lack of a better term) but it can offer some comfort to girls with no other alternative.
