Question: I still have an Irregular Menstrual Cycle.?
I got my first period when I was 13, i'm now 19 and it's still irregular, I know when first starting out it's prone to be that way, but it hasn't changed. I'd get my period at the most unexpected times, sometimes I wont have one for 3-4 months, I think the longest was around 6-7 months, after so long I would think that it would have become regular by now but it hasn't. As far as I know i'm not really under any stress so it can't be that. Is this normal, or does anyone else experience this too.?Health Question & Answer

Sounds like a hormonal issue. I go through the same thing. Go to the doctor and get your hormone levels checked.

This is happening to me aswell. im 17 years old atm, and had my period three times, with 6-9 month gaps in between. my last period was at christmas, so earlier on in the year the doctor gave me an ultrasound, but he found no irregularities, and told me that im fine, and normal. stress is a big factor that can do this, and even though im going through VCE and very stressed atm, i wasnt when i first started getting it. i really dont know what the under lying issue is, but our best bet is to go to a specialist.

you could have a hormone problem.

I had the same problem when I was that age too.Taking the pill usually helps to regulate it. It did for me.Health Question & Answer
