Ahh dont worry, the first few times i ever put in or took out a tampon had stuff like that, i put it in, and when i checked to make sure it was in, the string had some blood on the top, so i took it out, and it was completely white except for a little bit around the middle, what you would expect in 3 seconds haha =]

alot of the time its just the applicators, they can have drops of blood or blood "clots" on them, and those can get on the string! also if you had any blood ALMOST about to "flow" out, liek right at the surface, it would easily get on the string

to prevent this i would suggest using sanitarey wipes, FIRST and RIGHT before, making sure no blood is about to "flow" out, or wait for a clot, wipe, then do it quickly! this usualy prevents it for me

sorry if you arent using an applicator, i just assumed, if you arent it was probably the same thing, but it might have been on your fingers, i mean the string is only like 6 fibers wound together, and con only hold so much, so a sinlge rop is enough to make it look like nothing! =]

Soo dont look into it too much, try what i told you and it might help! it is annoying isnt it though!.? anyway, im totaly stealing this from always, but....Have a happy period =]Health Question & Answer

If you put in your tampon after you've started, sometimes there can be blood on your pubic hair that will rub off onto your tampon. It happens to me everytime. I hate tampons but I have to wear them when I dance. I normally wear a pantiliner just so the blood doesn't rub off on my underwear.Health Question & Answer
