Question: Question about Ortho tri-cyclen lo.?
My gyno had said I would love this type of birth control. So I wen't ahead and agreed to try it. I was on the other ortho tri-cyclen for about two years. I was taking that and the antibiotic fluconazole. I have to take fluconazole for life. Since this is a lower dose of birth control am I at a even GREATER risk for getting pregnant.? I didn't get pregnant with the other type of ortho tri cyclen. It worked just fine while taking my antibiotics.Health Question & Answer

I would say that you are at a greater risk for pregnancy. Any antibiotic interferes with birth control. If you don't want any little ones running around I would use a secondary BC just to be safe.Health Question & Answer
