i think my period started like 5 minutes before sex because i thought i felt it happen right before we did the deed. though we had protected sex, is the risk of pregnancy even higher or really much lower.?Health Question & Answer

FYI, you count day one of your period as day one then you count the first day of your next period as day one. Lets just say there are 28 days before your next period. If this is the case, you would be safer, days 1-8 and then days 18-28. Your highest risk days are days 9-17 as you would be ovulating somewhere around day 14.
