How do you bring up the subject, to ask your mom about using tampons, when your 14?.. ima be 15 in 2 weeks.?!

i know everyone says you should be comfortable with talking to you mom about that kind of stuff but thats usually not true, so maybe when your at the store you could tell her that you need more pads and once you get to the isle maybe say like can we get some tampons too because pads are always uncomfortable when im running around and stuff. also, if you act normal and comfortable (even if its an act) she will act normal and comfortable too.
