Ummm. I have a vaginal itch. It's not to bad and it's not 24/7. It's not burning though. I don't have a yeast infection. It's either BV or Non-Infectious Vaginitis. Im only 13 so im still a virgin. Help.?Health Question & Answer

It is still possible that it is a yeast infection even though you don't have discharge. I would suggest that you go and see you gyn. Is the area inflamed or swollen.? Have you recently taken antibiotics.? There are so many possibilties. If possible try homeopathic medicine like Azo yeast to see if it relieves the symptoms. If it is inflamed or in pain, take some ibuprofen. Make sure that these medicines do not have any adverse interactions with anything you are already taking. Go to the doctor.

Go to the doctor because you can't always be sure about what it is unless your a professional. also don't just buy any medicine out there because you are embarrassed of going to the doctor. It may be a bacterial infection, but I'm not sure so you should really check with your doctor first. Because I learned if you don't then it will get worse.Health Question & Answer
you could still have an infection without having discharge, but it might just be nothing. it's common to get what you're explaining, it could even be down to the washing powder you wash your underwear with.
