Question: I just got my period for the first time and it lasted for 1 day.?
okay so i finaly got my period i think. im 14 1/2 and 87 pounds. i finaly got my period but it was only one day long. i bleed like a meduim amount the first day but the second day i got nothing and that was the only time i bleed. so does that mean i got my first period and what does it mean to only have it one day. is that bad.? please help me if you now anythingHealth Question & Answer

Don't worry that's completely normal. My first lasted day too - and my best friend (who was 14 1/2 and 85 pounds!) was the same way too. Nothing to worry about. Don't be surprised if it come back within the next few days - or any time for that matter - it's gonna be weird at first.

When you first get your period it takes it a while to get to a normal one. eg. you may only get your period every 2 months for the first year. It is very normal and for you first period that is also very normal. Don't worry to much it just takes the body a little time to get it right. Health Question & Answer
