Question: I am really scared about starting my period.?
i am scared about starting my period..i am 15 years old. i do have hair under my armpits and i also have public hair.i am so scared because i dont no when i will start. can some one please please help me. i do think i will start soon but i am so scared. some one please help meHealth Question & Answer

Don't be scared, it really is just an inconvenience, thats all. Carry pads with you at all times so that if you do start you will be prepared, when you very first notice it will probably only be a few drops of blood - not that scary i promise. If you experience cramping just take paracetamol or a hot water bottle on your stomach can ease the discomfort. also evening primrose oil capsules will help if you start feeling a bit emotional around the time of your period (pmt). Periods are a pain but all the symptoms can be dealt with. Dont worry - in a few years you will be wondering what you were so scared about! Health Question & Answer
Don't be scared! It really isn't as bad as people make it out to be. If you're that scared about it, carry around a pad (I don't think you'll want to use a tampon the very first time) with you because it sounds like you'll be getting it not long from now if you have the hair and whatnot lol. But yeah its really no biggie...I got mine in 7th grade and I was kinda freaked out at first but I calmed down, you will too :)Health Question & Answer
It's not that scary. People used to tell me when I was young that it was horrible. It really isn't. Actually, I like mine! I always like getting and I feel like it's an adventure! But some people just hate it. You'll probably know a YEAR before your period, you'll discharge for about a year and then get it. It's really not that bad. its okay! periods arent that bad - if you are unprepared your first time it wont leak through probably. just have a pad with u most of the time just in case :) good luck!Health Question & Answer
