Question: Is this tampon going to harm me.?!.?
Last night I put in a tampon, stupid me, I was about to go to bed so I took it out when its only been in for like 20 minutes and when I pulled it out I think a little piece of the tampon ripped and it's still inside me.
Like when you pull cotton, pieces stick out, well thats what it did.
I dont know if a little bit is still inside me, but I dont know what to do.?
I still have my period, is it safe to still wear tampons.?

It shouldn't hurt. Your vagina naturally cleanses itself, and will most likely expel the little piece of cotton in your normal discharge. However, if you are still super concerned, it wouldn't hurt to go to the gynecologist, at least for your own comfort.Health Question & Answer
