Question: Kariva the birth control pill !.?!.?
Is anyone else on this one.? I've been on Karive since 15 or maybe 16 i'm 19 now. I've heard that your body can become used to a pill and then the effects will not work! Is it true.? Should I ask about getting another kind of pill!.? Any suggestions.? I really like Kariva, it doesn't really help with my acne and it slows my sex drive down, but my periods are only 4 days long aposed to 8 days and i'm not in pain on my periods anymore. I want something similar that will have the same effects on my period I don't ever want to go back to pre-birth control periods! Thanks!Health Question & Answer

i took Kariva for three months this summer. i stopped because it broke my face out in places i've never had acne.
i say, if you're taking it for acne and it's not working, switch to something else. i have acne and i'm taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and it's been working. perhaps you could try that. also, Yaz is supposed to be great for acne, as well as the sucky side effects that come with periods.
