I think that height and weight don't play as big of a part in rather insurance will pay as does the question of rather or not you are healthy.
Do you have any weight related sicknesses.? Diabeties.? Trouble Breathing.? These kinds of problems will prompt your insurance to pay.

It's not just how much you weight for them to pay for it. The insurance companies and doctors want to try other ways of loosing weight before doing surgery. Iike Dieting and exercising.Health Question & Answer
I think the guideline is you need to be 100+ pounds overweight for your body type. I'd suggest you talk to your doctor about it.Health Question & Answer
