Question: What is going on with my period!.?!.?!.?
I started taking birth control about 2 1/2 months ago. I skipped the inactive pills on my 2nd pack and started on the 3rd pack so that my period would come a week early this month and I wont be on it during my wedding/honeymoon at the first of next month. The problem is that instead of not having a period at all I am now into my second week of one. Should everything straighten out or will I have another long period at the end of this month and beginning of next month.?Health Question & Answer

i would skip the sugar pills too and it just takes maybe a cycle or two for your body to adjsut to this ... they have several types of bcp ... maybe the one you are on is not strong enough to carry you thru the month ... talk to your dr about changing them ... good luck wih getting it under conrol before the wedding! they also now make bcp that you can take and have 4 periods a year ... depending on the type of birth control you have it could take 3 or more months for your body to get used to the hormones. if you are really worried contact your doctor, he/she can tell you more about the type of birth control and what you're going through now.Health Question & Answer
