Answers:
Was the 5th of October the day you started your period.? If so, you're more protected than if you took them on a day when you didn't begin your period.

However, it usually takes a full month to really go into effect, no matter what that pamphlet says (better safe than sorry, right.? your body needs to adjust!).

Yes, it is very possible you are pregnant. But, just because you have unprotected sex doesn't mean you're going to end up pregnant (even though it is very likely in many cases, and can happen).

I would wait to see if your period comes. If not, take a test, that's the only 100% way to be sure.

PS: The pullout method isn't a great way to ensure you don't end up pregnant, anyway. A lot of men pre-ejaculate, which contains sperm (less than actual ejaculatory fluids, but still enough to impregnate). So, no matter what, there's a risk for pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck.Health Question & Answer

Yes you could, you know that statistic that says that the pill is 97% effective and that less than three percent of women taking it would get pregnant in the first year of use.? well, it is people like you that make that statistic, the pill is probably over 99% effective if taken at the same time everyday, if you don't do that, your chances of becoming pregnant increase. YOu HAVE to take it at the same time everyday and not ever miss a day to know that you won't get pregnant. If you can not remember to take a pill, it's time to get on something more convenient, like the patch or the ring or the shot. Though make sure you research something thoroughly before putting it into your body, synthetic hormones are bad for women, they give us stupid side effects and carry serious risks with them, but most women don't have any other choice, so, that's what we have to do.Good luck!!:)Health Question & Answer

The first two weeks after starting on the pill, you should use back up. I am on yaz and I have never taken my at the same time everyday. I just take it sometime in the morning. And try not to use the pull out method cause it doesn't work too good, cause I got pregnant that way. However, I wasn't taking the pill then. Just be careful.Health Question & Answer

The ONLY to ENSURE you wont get pregnant is to not have sex.
